Paramount+ has yet to set a release date for season 2, although series star Ben Schnetzer, who plays deputy sheriff Van Davis, recently said that he believes it will premiere early next year.

In the meantime, members of “The Madison” cast were asked about the second go-around during a recent event with Deadline.

Here’s what they said.

‘The Madison’ cast on season 2 storylines

Beau Garrett, who plays eldest daughter Abigail, teased that the family will spend more time in Montana.

“The first season was a lot of grief and upheaval,” Garrett said. “Now, it’s like we’re settling into Montana in season 2. I think that there’s a lot that comes with that.”

Amiah Miller, who plays Abigail’s niece Bridgett, said a lot is in store for her character in season 2.

“She meets a lot of new people. She finds her footing. I think Montana really forces her to reconnect and rebuild,” Miller said. “Bond with her family and also be open to new connections. I’m excited for people to see it.”

Garrett and Miller’s comments echo what Pfeiffer has said in the past about season 2 and the family’s extended stay in the Treasure State.

“I will say that the reality of really what it means to be there, without the skill sets to be there, it starts to sink in more and more as season 2 goes on,” Pfeiffer told the Los Angeles Times. “It becomes harder and more dangerous and begins to unravel.”

More on ‘The Madison’

“The Madison” is described as a “heartfelt study of grief and human connection following a New York City family (the Clyburns) in the Madison River valley of central Montana.”

Before premiering this spring, “The Madison” filmed its first season in 2024 and second in 2025. This was done to accommodate Kurt Russell’s schedule as he was filming “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters” in 2024, and joined “The Madison” cast a year later to film scenes for both seasons.

Several Fort Worth locations appeared in season 1, including restaurants like Emilia’s, Clay Pigeon and Wicked Butcher. The Modern Art Museum also makes an appearance. The Star-Telegram put together a map of all the Fort Worth locations, which can be viewed here.

In addition to the previously mentioned cast, “The Madison” stars Patrick J. Adams, Matthew Fox, Elle Chapman, Alaina Pollack, Rebecca Spence, Danielle Vasinova, Kevin Zegers and Will Arnett. Production on season 2 wrapped late last year.

“The Madison” season 1 is streaming on Paramount+.

The smash hit Yellowstone spinoff Marshals is already confirmed for a second season, and fans are wondering what the new episodes will bring.

What Is Marshals?

Marshals is a Yellowstone spinoff that began airing on CBS in 2026.

The show features ex-Yellowstone star Luke Grimes reprising his role as Kayce Dutton, the youngest of the Dutton siblings.

IMDb describes Marshals, “Ex-Navy SEAL Kayce Dutton leaves Yellowstone Ranch to join U.S. Marshals, using his cowboy and military skills to fight crime in Montana while dealing with family ties and the mental toll of law enforcement.”

Will There Be a Marshals Season 2?

Yes.

CBS confirmed Season 2 of Marshals in March, shortly after the show debuted to whopping ratings.

Who Stars in Marshals?

Several familiar Yellowstone faces have appeared in Marshals in addition to Grimes.

Brecken Merrill reprises his role as Kayce’s son, Tate, and Gil Birmingham (Thomas Rainwater) and Mo Brings Plenty (Mo) also return in their previous roles.

IMDb has a comprehensive list of the show’s cast and crew.

Is Monica Dutton a Character on Marshals?

No.

Monica (Kelsey Asbille) died of cancer during the period of time between the end of Yellowstone and the beginning of Marshals, providing an interesting plotline about how toxins leeching from a mine caused numerous deaths on the reservation.

Is Riley Green Appearing on Marshals Season 2?

No.

Green appeared in multiple episodes during Season 1 in the role of Garrett, a former Navy SEAL who’s trying to “put the demons of his past to rest.”

However, his character died during Season 1, so unless he appears in Season 2 via flashback, that’s probably it for him on Marshals.

Is There a Trailer for Marshals Season 2?

No. So far, CBS has released no further details about Marshals Season 2 beyond confirming it.

Was Marshals Originally Called Something Else?

Yes. The show was originally announced with the title Y: Marshals, but CBS quietly revealed that it was dropping the Y from the title in January 2026.

When Does Marshals Season 2 Premiere?

The network has not revealed a premiere date for Marshals Season 2, but Paramount has announced that production began in June of 2026 in Utah, and the new season is slated to premiere in the Fall of 2026.
