Iain Armitage stepped out on the red carpet looking more sophisticated than ever over the weekend.
On Saturday, Jan. 17, the Young Sheldon alum stepped out in Atlanta, Ga., for The King Center’s 2026 MLK Jr. Beloved Community Awards, where he put on his red carpet best for the prestigious award show ceremony.
Armitage, 17, cleaned up for Saturday evening’s event in a classic grey suit, worn with a crisp white collared shirt underneath and a magenta patterned tie. He also appeared to be sporting some bling for the outing, as he was photographed with a shiny silver bracelet on one wrist and a matching watch on the other.
The teen also had on a thick gold ring on one hand, plus a silver pendant pinned to his lapel.

The all-grown-up actor has matured right in front of America’s eyes, as he started playing the titular role in the hit CBS series Young Sheldon when he was just 9 years old. After a seven-season run, the Big Bang Theory prequel show ended in 2024, by which point Armitage was around the age of 15.
Armitage was among the presenters at this year’s Beloved Community Award ceremony, handing out the Beloved Community Youth Influencer Award to recipient Dr. Dorothy Jean Tillman, founder and CEO of The Dorothyjeanius STEAM Leadership Institute.
Other notable presenters during the evening included Chance the Rapper, Rockmond Dunbar and Sean Freeman, as well as the evening’s hosts Anika Noni Rose and Aldis Hodge, and an impressive list of honorees that include Viola Davis, Billie Eilish, Gloria James and more.
