Montana Jordan rose to fame playing a young dad and husband on Young Sheldon and Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, but his real life isn’t so different — he’s the loving father of one daughter, Emma Rae Jordan.

Montana and Jenna Jordan (née Weeks) became parents for the first time in May 2024, when they welcomed their baby girl. The duo got engaged eight months later in January 2025, and married that June, with Emma Rae in attendance.

“It’s been great for me. … She’s great,” Montana told about having a child in September 2024. “There’s nothing better than freaking being a dad.”

Montana tries to balance his life as an actor and a father, and he has credited Jenna for her support along the way. The idea of growing their family has also crossed his mind.

“Oh, I’m thinking about four or five [kids] right now,” he said. “Yeah, I want a bunch of them — I just got to talk my wife into giving them to me.”

Montana and Jenna shared their pregnancy news in January 2024

Montana and Jenna announced they were going to be parents in January 2024. She shared photos of them standing in a field holding sonogram photos and revealed the baby’s sex in the caption.

“You are so loved already, little girl,” Jenna wrote on Instagram. “In a world that is so uncertain, there is one thing that is: your dad and I love you endlessly and unconditionally. We will do our best to raise you in the eyes of the Lord.”

At the time, Jenna also expressed her hope that their daughter would inherit “the best parts of both me and your dad,” including Montana’s “big heart and contagious laugh.”

She was born in May 2024

On May 20, 2024, Jenna shared a photo of herself in a hospital bed, holding hands with Montana while preparing to give birth. “IT’S BABY TIME!!!🍼🍼,” she wrote.

Emma Rae was born one day later on May 21, 2024.

“God has blessed me with a beautiful baby girl,” Montana wrote in his Instagram announcement, which featured a photo of him holding her. “Emma Rae Jordan, Momma and Daddy love you. Forever and always.”

Shortly after, he posted a special video that documented the day, writing, “God truly blessed me with a beautiful family! Forever thankful!”

She has influenced Montana’s acting as Georgie

Montana’s fatherhood journey lined up closely with that of his Young Sheldon and Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage character, Georgie Cooper Jr.

In Young Shelton, he plays the titular Sheldon Cooper’s older brother, who becomes more of a main character in later seasons when he welcomes a baby with Emily Osment’s Mandy McAllister, and eventually marries her at the end of the series.

The spinoff show picks up where their journey as young parents and newlyweds left off.

“I mean, it’s crazy how it’s working out,” Montana told about becoming a dad and getting married around the same time as his character in January 2025. “It’s crazy how life works. It helps you realize what is going through.”

“If I had never had a kid, I would never know what Georgie is going through,” he continued. “So that does help me play that on the screen and just bring authenticity to the screen, and it’s really nice.”

She attended her parents’ wedding in June 2025

Montana and Jenna got engaged in January 2025, with Montana kneeling in front of large letters that read “Marry Me?” while surrounded by rose petals.

“To the woman I love most. You are the light of my life, sweetheart,” he wrote in the post’s caption. “I love you to the moon and back a million times and more. I can’t wait to see what the future brings for us and our family.”

For her part, Jenna wrote, “All I can say is YESS!💍. I can’t think of a better person that I would want to spend the rest of my life with. Montana is such an amazing father, and he has a generous, kind, loving heart that only [a] few get to see, so glad I’m one of them.”

The pair got married on June 21, 2025, at Dove Hollow Estate in Longview, Texas. Emma Rae was the guest of honor at the special event and wore a white gown like her mom.

She has spent time on the Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage set

Montana tries to spend as much time as possible with Emma Rae, so that means bringing her to set “at least every Tuesday.”

“She’s a year and a half, so she doesn’t like to sit still very much, and she’s at the screaming age now,” he shared at the Los Angeles Comic Con in September 2025. “So, I’m going to have to get some soundproof blocks for my dressing room.”

“I don’t mind [the screaming]. I really don’t,” actress Osment added. “The greatest thing to hear through the wall is Emma talking in her language. It’s so cute.”

Oftentimes, Emma Rae will have to leave the set before the actual taping because it’s past her bedtime, but Montana told Entertainment Tonight that “everybody loves” when she stops by.

“After work is done, he just runs,” Osment revealed of her costar. “He’s like, ‘Gotta go see my kid!’ “

“I don’t even take my makeup off,” he quipped.

Emma Rae enjoys dressing up for Halloween

Emma Rae had her first Halloween in October 2024, where she dressed up like a pink dinosaur and partied with some of the Young Sheldon crew, including Osment and Annie Potts, who both held her that night.

The following year, in October 2025, she wore a light blue princess costume and crown while swinging around a little wand with her two parents. “Happy Halloween!” Jenna captioned the sweet photos.
