NCIS is hitting a major TV milestone—and Wilmer Valderrama has something to say about it.
Ever since the hit drama premiered back in 2003, fans have loved watching the NCIS team solve crimes on CBS. With actors like Mark Harmon, Michael Weatherly, and more coming and going, it’s hard to imagine a day when NCIS wouldn’t be dropping new episodes.
Well, longtime viewers don’t need to worry about that, thanks to the surprise announcement from CBS on January 22. The franchise’s official Instagram account announced that NCIS was renewed for season 24, along with its spinoff shows NCIS: Sydney for season 4 and NCIS: Origins for season 3. But that’s not all. Wilmer (who portrays SSA Nick Torres) commented on his own Instagram about NCIS returning for another season … along with a reminder that new episodes are airing very soon.
“We’ll be back for a Season 24!!! 🎉,” he wrote alongside a clip of the cast finding out about NCIS’ future on TV. “But first … NCIS returns March 3 at 8PM ET/PT on @cbstv and streaming on @paramountplus.”
