Jackson Rathbone is opening up about his forever love.
On Monday, Sept. 29, the Twilight star, 40, marked 12 years of marriage with wife Sheila Hafsadi, 38, with a sentimental Instagram post that included seven pieces of advice for a happy marriage.
“Happy 12th Anniversary, baby !!! Frickin’ love you more and more every year. We grow together, forever,” he captioned a carousel of photos, adding, “And I still think you’re hot, and I will never stop hitting on you.”

As for his tips, Rathbone started with, “Marry your best friend.”
The actor continued with, “Fights will happen. Fight for your relationship, not for your own self.”
The advice turned more intimate as he wrote, “Make love (at least) once a week, forever. Talk about it. What feels good, what doesn’t. Things you want to try. Boundaries. Try new things.”
Other tips from the action include having consistent “open and honest conversation about your feelings” and to “grow together.”
“Golden Rule: treat each other the way you want to be treated. Remember you are partners. Everything you drop, your spouse has to pick up,” he wrote, before sharing his final piece of advice: “Don’t be a d—.”

Sheila also celebrated the marriage anniversary on Instagram, writing, “I love you so much it’s scary. Happy Anniversary @jacksonrathbone . I thank G-d for you every day.”
Rathbone and Hafsadi tied the knot in September 2013 with a carnival-themed party in Calabasas, Calif.
“It was a magical, emotional day filled with friends, family, balloons, popcorn, magic, and even a sword swallower! We are blessed in love and life and are so very thankful for our families coming together. It was our perfect day,” he exclusively told PEOPLE at the time.
The couple share sons Monroe Jackson and Felix Valleau, and daughter Presley Bowie.
Rathbone and Hafsadi met in 2011, when the actor was playing a show with his former band 100 Monkeys and saw her working at the venue next door.
“It was one of those things. I always said I believed in love at first sight, but I never really had that feeling before,” he previously told
