Raegan Revord, best known for her role as Missy Cooper in the hit series Young Sheldon, took fans on a nostalgic trip down memory lane with a heartfelt photo.
The teen star delighted fans by sharing a photo with the Cooper family.
What was meant to be a casual on-screen daddy-daughter outing turned into a touching get-together as the cast reunited on a familiar set.
In an Instagram post, Revord shared a series of snaps with Lance Barber (George Cooper), Zoe Perry (Mary Cooper), Montana Jordan (Georgie Cooper), Matt Hobby (Pastor Jeff) and Young Sheldon co-creator Chuck Lorre inside the iconic Cooper house.
One photo also featured the Cooper family gathered around the dinner table, teasing fans with an on-screen reunion.
Besides the adorable photos, the 17-year-old also penned a touching message celebrating the moment and expressing her admiration for her co-stars.
“What started off as a daddy/daughter date at a restaurant on the WB lot ended up being an impromptu reunion on some of our beloved Cooper sets. Love this family so much!!” Record wrote in the caption.
The post drew a flurry of reactions from both fans and fellow cast members, including Melissa Peterman, who played Billy’s mother, Brenda Sparks.
“Could not love this more!!” she said.
“I love this so much,” a follower added.
A fan also expressed their excitement at seeing the Cooper family again, writing, “I missed you guys sooo much.”
“The Coopers are my favorite TV family on Young Sheldon,” a commenter echoed.
On the flip side, a few fans noticed the absence of a key cast member during the reunion.
“The Good old days. We Will Miss Young Sheldon forever, but where’s @iain?” a follower asked, referring to Iain Armitage, who played the young Sheldon Cooper.
“Awee. Missing Shelly!” another added.
“Guys, I’m missing something. Where is Sheldon?” a different comment mentioned.
Prior to this post, Revord shared a candid photo with Barber along with a message that reads “Forever 2nd Dad,” hinting at their unique friendship on and off camera.
Despite Young Sheldon concluding after seven successful seasons, fans have been treated to a charming follow-up with the spin-off Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, now in its second season with familiar faces and surprise cameos from the original series.
This also includes Barber, who appeared in Season 1, Episode 12. Even though his character passed away in Young Sheldon, Barber’s cameo in the spin-off creates a touching symbolic reunion with his on-screen son.
