Iain Armitage will be returning to CBS and he couldn’t be more excited.
After the phenomenal sitcomYoung Sheldon, where he played the iconic role of Sheldon Cooper, the 17-year-old actor will make a guest appearance on the comedy series Ghosts.
According to an exclusive report by Variety, the former child star will appear as a “heightened version of himself, taking part in a high-stakes poker game at the mansion.”
Viewers will see Armitage’s cameo in the April 16 episode.
Apart from this, the show also welcomed the young actor to Woodstone, giving him his “ghostie’s dream.”
“He’s living every ghostie’s dream—one of our biggest fans, @iain, is coming to Woodstone! We couldn’t be happier to have him,” the caption reads as posted on Ghosts‘ official Instagram.
The post drew reactions not only from excited fans but also from the Big Little Lies actor, who couldn’t hide his enthusiasm. He went on to describe his cameo in Ghosts as a “dream” come true.
“Dreams can come true! I’ve loved this show since the beginning and I am really looking forward to seeing everyone at Woodstone!! CAN’T WAIT!!!!!” he responded.
Fans also chimed in to congratulate Armitage on landing the role and shared their excitement for his upcoming cameo.

Back in July, Ghosts star Asher Grodman sparked buzz after playfully commenting about wanting to work with theteen star.
It was after Armitage posted a photo with the 38-year-old actor and gushed about meeting one of his “favorite people.”
“One of my favorite people to randomly run into. We keep having these Young Sheldon/Ghosts crossover moments,” he said, to which Grodman responded, “Right back at ya, bud. Raise your hand if you also think Iain Armitage needs to be on Ghosts asap.”
Lo and behold, the two will be bringing fans’ playful crossover dreams to life alongside the Ghosts cast: Rose McIver, Rebecca Wisocky, Brandon Scott Jones, Román Zaragoza, Sheila Carrasco and others.
