Congratulations to Jesse Williams and his new wife, Alejandra Onieva, who are expecting their first baby, months after they reportedly tied the knot. The Spanish actress, 34, revealed the news in several photos that showcased her blossoming baby bump. Earlier this month, Alejandra took to Instagram to share a carousel of snaps of her and Jesse’s apparent babymoon in Hawaii. Several photos featured Alejandra proudly showing off her bump, including one of her on the beach in a tight red dress, and another of her wearing low-slung loose pants and a cropped, long-sleeved top that exposed her belly.
The couple’s pregnancy news comes weeks after it was reported that Jesse and Alejandra, who starred together in Hotel Costiera, quietly exchanged vows in a private ceremony.
“I was in a relationship 13 years, 13 real years, not five years, not seven years, 13 years and all of a sudden [expletive] are writing think-pieces that I somehow threw a 13-year relationship — like the most painful experience I’ve had in my life, like with a person I’ve loved with all of my heart — that I threw a person and my family in the trash because a girl I work with is cute.”
Their divorce became contentious as they argued over the custody of their kids, with Jesse accusing Aryn of “restricting” his access to them.
“Aryn restricts my time with the children and decides when, and for how long I may have them,” he said in court documents obtained by Us Weekly.
“She has rejected, without any reason, each and every request I have made to have the children sleep over at my residence.”
Jesse and Aryn finalized their divorce in 2020, agreeing to joint custody, with Jesse paying $40,000 per month in child support, which was reduced to $6,413 per month in 2022 after he appealed to have the payments lowered following his Grey’s Anatomy exit after 12 seasons in 2021.
Five years after the end of his marriage, Jesse met Alejandra while filming the series Hotel Costiera on Italy’s Amalfi Coast. Reports of their romance surfaced in early fall when they were spotted together in Madrid.
They went public with their relationship last September, arriving hand-in-hand at the show’s premiere in Rome.
