“People who stand out as being authentic and with something to say,” Edwards explained.

TV Executives Believe Digital Creators Are the Future

Fox Television Network president Michael Thorn says the changing media landscape has opened the door for creators to build their own audiences long before television executives discover them.

With fewer traditional TV opportunities available than in previous years, creators are increasingly using platforms like TikTok, Instagram and YouTube to showcase their skills directly to viewers.

But Thorn believes those creators can still benefit from partnering with established media companies.
