Doc continues to be a success for Fox — and it’s added Blair Underwood for Season 3!
The good news is that fans don’t have much longer to wait for the 22-episode season to premiere — it’s coming in September — after where the series left Amy (Molly Parker) and her complicated love life and what was revealed about her and Underwood’s character. And the newly released teaser, which you can watch below, offers a tantalizing glimpse at the drama — and romance! — to come, especially between Amy and Ben (Underwood).
But, as she continues to recover the memories she lost after the car accident that kicked off the series and grows closer to Ben, we can’t help but wonder if she’s saying to him at the end, “You’re lying to me.” Could they start a new relationship without her remembering — or him telling her about — their previous one?

When does Doc Season 3 premiere?
The 22-episode season will premiere on Tuesday, September 22, at 9/8c, on Fox.
The series was renewed in March.

Who is in the Doc cast?
Doc stars Molly Parker as Dr. Amy Larsen, Omar Metwally as Dr. Michael Hamda, Amirah Vann as Dr. Gina Walker, Jon Ecker as Dr. Jake Heller, Anya Banerjee as Dr. Sonya Maitra, and Patrick Walker as Dr. TJ Coleman. Blair Underwood joined the cast for Season 3, while Felicity Huffman will not be back after Dr. Joan Ridley died in the finale. Scott Wolf recurred as Dr. Richard Miller in Season 2; it’s unclear if he’ll be back and, if so, in what capacity.
Underwood debuted as Dr. Ben Grant in the two-part Season 2 finale. He’s described as “a world-class trauma and cardiothoracic surgeon with an ego that somehow outpaces even his resume. What is Doc about?
The Fox medical drama is inspired by a true story and based on a hit Italian drama series. It picks up with Amy rebuilding her life after a car crash erased eight years of her memory. Now, in Season 2, she’s working to get her memories back and continue to work on key relationships in her life.
