The Yellowstone universe has hit yet another milestone! As you may know, the Taylor Sheridan franchise is the most popular programming on Paramount+, with the show’s prequels and spinoffs drawing massive viewership. Now, Dutton Ranch is continuing that legacy while taking it a step further.

On Tuesday, May 26, Paramount announced that, after amassing 12.9 million global views during premiere week, Dutton Ranch is officially the biggest original series launch in Paramount+ history—a title once held by 1923.

“Thank you to all the fans that have been around from the ground up… and to all you new fans for making this the most successful show on @paramountplus ever! Let’s keep @duttonranch rollin’,” Cole Hauser, who plays the inimitable Rip Wheeler, captioned a post sharing the news on Instagram.

Beyond its new Paramount+ record, Dutton Ranch has cemented itself as the No. 1 streaming series for the week of May 11, according to Nielsen Media Research, not to mention the biggest series premiere on cable, where it aired on the Paramount Network, since 2023. The series is also responsible for renewed viral interest in Eminem’s iconic hit, “Till I Collapse,” which accompanied the explosive montage in the official trailer. “The track surged to a new all-time peak of No. 3 on Billboard’s Rap Digital Song Sales chart, and held steady for three consecutive weeks over two decades after its initial release, exemplifying the series’ cultural impact,” a Paramount press release reveals.

All this to say, the data is there, and the consensus is clear: Fans are loving Beth and Rip’s new trajectory on Dutton Ranch, and they’re eager to tune in to see what happens next. “The power of Beth and Rip,” one fan exclaimed on Cole’s Instagram post. “We need at least 5 seasons,” someone else remarked. “Congratulations, Cole, and to everyone who had a hand in bringing Dutton Ranch to our screens, a big huge THANK YOU!! Rip and Beth are AWESOME!! Here is to at least ten seasons of Dutton Ranch,” another fan commented. “Thank you and Kelly for giving us fans everything we hoped for,” one Instagrammer chimed in.

New episodes of Dutton Ranch premiere on Fridays on Paramount+.
