Virgin River fans still have a few months before Season 7 drops on Netflix.
However, actor Benjamin Hollingsworth is giving fans a little something to tide them over until the hit show is back. Hollingsworth recently revealed some hints at what’s coming up for his alter ego, Brady, when Virgin Riverreturns.
The last time fans saw the brooding bad boy, his heart was in a million pieces because of the women in his life. Lark (Elise Gatien), the woman he was dating, stole all his money after hearing Brady reveal his true feelings to his great love, Brie (Zibby Allen).
As for Brie, she left him guessing once Mike (Mike Valenzuela) proposed to her, even though he knew she had cheated on him with Brady. It’s a mess, and according to Hollinsworth, it’s going to be like that for much of Season 7.
Speaking with People, Hollingsworth admitted that Brady does track down Lark and will get his money back, but that only raises more questions for him.
“He goes to try and find Lark. He tracks her down and really figures out what to do with the money once he gets it. I think that’s a big question for him, and it’s one that’s maybe a little more complex than he thought when he first went out to try and find her,” the Hallmark star expressed.
It should surprise no one that the other big question Brady must deal with is, of course, the Brie of it all.
“There’s a lot to reconcile and to figure out the season between Brie and Brady, and Mike and Brie. I won’t say that the love triangle necessarily continues, but I will say that it’s a season-long journey that I think will have its ups and downs and moments where fans can really feel happy, and moments where fans can feel frustrated,” Hollingsworth shared with the outlet.
Virgin Riverfans know full well that Brie is the great love of Brady’s life, but he also knows that he’s not necessarily good for her.
Since it won’t be until spring that Virgin River is back, those looking for their Hollingsworth fix can catch him in his latest Christmas movie. The actor is appearing inKaren Kingsbury’s The Christmas Ring, with One Tree Hill alum Jana Kramer and Hollywood icon Kelsey Grammer. It is streaming now on various platforms.
Netflix has also ordered Season 8 of Virgin River, which has not yet been filmed.
