The Lincoln Lawyer Star Manuel Garcia-Rulfo Sparks Buzz After Being Spotted With Shakira in Hollywood

The Lincoln Lawyer actor Manuel Garcia-Rulfo is making headlines after being seen spending time with global music superstar Shakira in Hollywood.

According to photos obtained by Page Six, Shakira and Garcia-Rulfo were spotted outside the iconic Sunset Tower Hotel in Los Angeles on June 15. The pair appeared relaxed and cheerful as they chatted and smiled while waiting for valet service, fueling speculation about the nature of their relationship.

So far, neither Shakira nor Garcia-Rulfo has commented publicly on the sighting, leaving fans wondering whether the two are simply friends or if there could be something more developing between them.

Garcia-Rulfo, who stars as defense attorney Mickey Haller in Netflix’s hit legal drama The Lincoln Lawyer, was previously linked to Audrey McGraw, the daughter of country music stars Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, in 2023. Since then, the actor has kept his personal life largely out of the spotlight.

Shakira, meanwhile, has remained single since 2024 following brief rumored romances with actor Lucien Laviscount and NBA star Jimmy Butler. The singer’s dating life has been closely followed since her highly publicized split from former soccer star Gerard Piqué after more than a decade together.

In a recent interview with The Times, however, Shakira made it clear that romance is not currently a priority.

“There’s no space or time in my life for that,” she said. “My kids are my priority, and my career. Strangely enough, I’m in love with my career like I’ve never been before. I’m also enjoying my time alone.”

The Grammy-winning artist shares two sons, Milan and Sasha, with Piqué. Reflecting on their 2022 breakup, Shakira described it as one of the most difficult periods of her life.

She admitted the end of the relationship shattered the vision she once had for her family, but also said the experience helped her grow stronger and more resilient.

“I’ve been through so much pain, but it has made me wiser and stronger,” she explained. “Sometimes suffering teaches you how strong you really are.”

Despite the heartbreak, Shakira said she remains grateful for the lessons she learned and for the support she received from friends and loved ones during that chapter of her life.

For now, whether her recent outing with The Lincoln Lawyer star was simply a friendly dinner or the beginning of something more remains a mystery.
