The romantic drama show Virgin River is returning for another exciting season, much to the fans’ relief. Mel and Jack’s story is not over yet, and they have more adventures to unfold that the audience cannot get enough of. Several new faces are joining the cast of Virgin River this season. Sara Canning, also seen in The Vampire Diaries, joins Season 7 as Victoria, a former cop and medical board examiner investigating Doc’s lawsuit. Cody Kearsley plays Clay, a rodeo star searching for his estranged younger sister after losing touch in foster care.

When is Virgin River Season 7 Releasing?
Virgin River is set to return on Netflix with season 7 on March 12. Unlike other shows that got a two-part premiere, Virgin River will be releasing all 10 episodes of the season at once, so fans can schedule their weekend for a fun binge party.
Season 6 was released in December 2024, so fans have already waited a long time for the story to continue. There’s plenty of time before season 7 drops, so fans can even rewatch Virgin River to catch up on the storyline.
What To Expect From Virgin River Season 7?
Season 7 of the show is expected to tie up a lot of loose ends of the story. Charmaine’s disappearance is certainly a burgeoning mystery, but along with that, we will also see Doc in trouble as he defends his medical license to retain his clinic. Brie and Mike also have some tough conversations ahead since she slept with someone else (Brady) despite being engaged to Mike.
On the other hand, Lark steals all of Brady’s money when she finds out he slept with Brie. The relationship drama keeps on piling up as lives converge, and people find themselves in tricky situations. With the new cast members joining the cast this season, more drama is bound to follow.
