Gordon Ramsay is preparing for an exciting new role: grandfather.
The celebrity chef’s daughter, Holly Ramsay, has announced that she is expecting her first child with her husband, Olympic swimming champion Adam Peaty. The joyful news was shared on social media, where the couple revealed they are set to welcome a baby girl in December 2026.
“Baby Ramsay-Peaty coming December 2026,” Holly wrote alongside a touching photo of the couple. “We can’t wait to meet our baby girl.”
The sweet image showed Adam lovingly cradling Holly’s growing baby bump as the pair smiled at each other, clearly excited about the next chapter of their lives.
Among the first to celebrate the announcement was Gordon Ramsay himself, who admitted he can hardly contain his excitement about becoming a grandfather for the very first time.
“Congratulations to you both, sending lots of love Dad,” Gordon commented. “I’m going to be a very overexcited Grandad, especially this Christmas.”
The news was also met with enthusiasm from Holly’s younger sister, Tilly Ramsay, who summed up her feelings in a simple but heartfelt message: “Best news ever.”
The growing Ramsay family received congratulations from several famous friends as well, including David Beckham, Victoria Beckham, and their son Romeo Beckham, all of whom attended Holly and Adam’s wedding celebrations last year.
The pregnancy announcement comes just six months after Holly and Adam tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony at The Abbey Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul in the United Kingdom on December 27, 2025.
For the special occasion, Holly wore a stunning satin wedding gown paired with a traditional veil, while Gordon proudly walked his daughter down the aisle in what he later described as one of the most emotional moments of his life.
“One of the most exciting car journeys ever in a father’s life,” Gordon wrote on Instagram at the time. “On the way to the church with your beautiful daughter, incredible conversations and helping her stay calm and relaxed ahead of our walk down the aisle.”
He added, “A moment I’ll never forget.”
The wedding was equally emotional for Holly. Following the ceremony, she shared a touching video capturing the moment her father saw her in her wedding dress for the first time. Gordon appeared visibly moved as tears filled his eyes.
“A moment we have talked about since I was a little girl,” Holly wrote. “I’ll always be your bug. I love you, Dad.”
