Actor Jesse Williams and his wife, Spanish actress Alejandra Onieva, are expecting their first baby together — the third child for the “Grey’s Anatomy” alum.
Onieva, 33, showcased her pregnancy on Instagram May 18, by sharing a carousel of photos and videos of her growing baby bump, E! News reported.
The couple’s pregnancy news comes after the 44-year-old actor and Onieva had secretly married in a private ceremony months before the news became public earlier this month, according to TMZ.
The couple originally met while co-starring in the Amazon Prime dramedy action series “Hotel Costiera” in Italy’s Amalfi coast. They were later seen traveling together to events in Rome, Madrid, and the Spanish City of San Sebastian, TMZ reported.
Williams already has two children, 11-year-old Sadie and 10-year-old Maceo, from his previous marriage to Aryn Drake-Lee. The former couple married in 2012 and divorced in 2020, according to People.
While filming his latest series in Italy, Williams emphasized that he prioritized waking up very early to speak with his older children back in the United States.
“[I was] waking up at 3 a.m. to call the kids,” Jesse told People in September 2025. “I’m nine hours ahead of them, so sleep was really tough.”
