Dutton Ranch is bringing one of television’s most beloved couples back — but in real life, the actors who portray the ranchers are happily married to other people. The Yellowstone spinoff — which premiered May 15 on Paramount+ — follows Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) and Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) as they relocate from Montana to Texas to build a new life. There, the pair face new challenges as they attempt to establish a namesake cattle ranch while raising their adopted son, Carter (Finn Little). “The Beth-Rip relationship, it’s so much different than any other relationship I’ve ever had on camera,” Hauser told PEOPLE in May 2026. “It’s hot, it’s cold, it’s beautiful, it’s angry, it’s passionate.” In real life, Hauser has been with his wife, Cynthia Daniel, for over 30 years and married for 20. Meanwhile, Reilly wed her husband, financier Kyle Baugher, in 2012. Here’s everything to know about the real-life loves of the Dutton Ranch cast.
Kelly Reilly and Kyle Baugher

Reilly, who stars in the series as Beth Dutton, has been married to financier Baugher for more than a decade, but the pair keep their romance out of the spotlight.
The couple met when Reilly attended Baugher’s brother’s wedding in Texas as the plus-one of one of her girlfriends. The pair hit it off right away, and they tied the knot on June 5, 2012, in Somerset, England.
“He’s the love of my life,” Reilly said during an appearance in November 2024. “The most beautiful thing that’s ever happened to me is my marriage.”
The actress went on to share how his support allowed her to fully delve into the role of Beth.
“I really wasn’t sure I’d be able to do it … I knew what was required of me and I didn’t want to mess it up, so I gave it everything,” she said. But Baugher eased her anxieties, telling her, “It doesn’t matter if it doesn’t work, you still get to come home to me.”
Cole Hauser and Cynthia Daniel

On Dutton Ranch, Hauser stars opposite Reilly as Beth’s husband, Rip Wheeler — but in real life, he’s married to photographer and former actress Daniel. In December 2024, the actor appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show, where he shared that Daniel was friends with his sister, which is how they first met. For Hauser, it was love at first sight.
“When she walked by my mother’s window, time stopped,” he said. He asked his sister to invite her to stay for dinner, and the rest was history. After dating for more than 10 years, the couple wed in 2006. “We’ve been together for 25 years,” he told PEOPLE in November 2020. “Through so many wonderful ups and downs as relationships do. We’ve stayed strong together and just battled through everything and still love each other.” Hauser and Daniel are also parents to three children.
In 2004, they welcomed their first child, son Ryland. Their second child, son Colt, was born four years later in 2008, and in 2012, they welcomed their only daughter, Steely Rose.

Kevin Winter/Getty Annette Bening, who portrays rival rancher Beulah Jackson, has one of the longest marriages in Hollywood. The actress has been married to iconic filmmaker, Warren Beatty, since 1992.
They share four children together. The couple first met in 1990 during a lunch meeting to discuss his upcoming film, Bugsy. Bening landed the leading role as his love interest in the film — and in his life. After this meeting, Beatty famously told director Barry Levinson, “I love her, and I’m going to marry her.” Bening, too, had a strong first impression of the actor, telling PEOPLE in February 2022 that she found him “incredibly intelligent,” “so sharp and funny,” and “charming, for sure.” In January 1992, the couple welcomed their first child together, Stephen. Two months later, they wed in a private ceremony.
They went on to welcome son Benjamin in 1994, daughter Isabel in 1997, and daughter Ella in 2000. Motherhood was also a priority for Bening, who recalled Beatty asking if she wanted to have a baby with him early on in their courtship. Having kids “was something I always wanted to do,” she told PEOPLE in February 2022. “It just always felt natural to me. Nothing comes close.”
Ed Harris and Amy Madigan

Ed Harris, who joins Dutton Ranch as veterinarian Everett McKinney, also has a long-lasting Hollywood romance. The Westworld star has been married to actress Amy Madigan since 1983. They share one child together. They first met in 1980 when Madigan saw him perform in Sam Shepard’s play Cowboy Mouth in Los Angeles.
“It was like something you see in a movie or hear in a song,” she told Life in 1985. “I just thought — ‘Well, there he is.’ It was obvious to me that I’d see him again.” The two married on Nov. 21, 1983, while filming Places in the Heart together.
Ten years after tying the knot, they welcomed their daughter, Lily. In March 2026, Madigan won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Weapons. During her acceptance speech, she praised her husband of over 40 years.
“The most important is my beloved Ed, who’s been with me forever — and that’s a long ass time,” she said. “And none of this would mean anything if he wasn’t by my side.”
Natalie Alyn Lind and Kai Caster

On Dutton Ranch, Natalie Alyn Lind plays Carter’s love interest, Oreana Jackson, but in real life, the actress is dating fellow Yellowstone alum Kai Caster.
Despite their shared Yellowstone connection, the couple didn’t meet through the franchise. In fact, based on an Instagram post Caster shared, it appears that the pair may have known each other since they were kids.
They have been linked since 2022, when Lind accompanied Caster to the season 5 premiere of Yellowstone.
