The undying love for Twilight isn’t such a pain in the neck to Kristen Stewart.

Nearly two decades since the first film launched a $3 billion franchise, the actress revealed she’s “not annoyed” by the schmaltzy saga — in fact, she would reprise the role of Bella Swan for a sixth installment if it were to get a green light.

“I love it, I would do it again,” Stewart admitted on In Your Dreams With Owen Thiele.

She turned 18 during production of the 2008 film, and recalled acting “like such a pretentious little loser trying to make it the very best,” Stewart joked. “It was so so serious.”

Likewise, Robert Pattinson also thoughtfully approached his portrayal of vampire Edward Cullen, and the two costars were aligned on their vision for the adaptation of Stephenie Meyer’s young adult romance novels.

“Me and Rob were like, ‘Yeah, this is like f—ing epic, like let’s try and, like, elevate this s—,’” Stewart told Thiele. “But tonally, we were all kind of like teenage about it. It was always like, ‘Oh my God, embarrassing. God, I just wanted to be like f—ing real and it’s, like, impossible. Everyone’s like making it f—ing impossible for it to be like f—ing real.’”

Looking back at Twilight now, she realizes “it was f—ing real. And kind of campy and sick. Like anything like ‘too much’ is so perfect for that period of time where you’re not going to do subtle stuff when you’re like a teenager dying. You know what I mean?”

As perfect as it is, the first film is one that she’d like to remake as a director, Stewart told Entertainment Tonight back in January.

“I love what Catherine [Hardwicke] did, I love what Chris [Weitz] did, I love what all of the directors did with the movies,” she prefaced. “They were so themselves and weird and kind of like, squirrelly, and just so present in that time when they didn’t really know what they were yet, like before they blew up.”

Stewart isn’t the only Twilight star still being badgered about the vampire franchise. While promoting The Drama back in March, Pattinson and his costar Zendaya were asked by a reporter if they were “Team Edward” or “Team Jacob.”

“I’m Team Edward all day, let’s go,” Zendaya answered, without hesitation.

“No one’s Team Jacob,” Pattinson quipped. “That was just a marketing thing.”
