Tom Brady and his ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan are proud parents this weekend. The former NFL star and actress reunited to celebrate their son Jack’s high school graduation. In photos shared on Instagram by Brady, the pair posed happily together with Jack who held up his diploma in his cap and gown.

“One of the proudest days of my life, watching Jack walk across the stage, and graduate into the next chapter of what’s already an impressive life,” Brady wrote in a long, touching tribute to his son in the caption. “You are an amazing son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend amongst many other things.”
Brady went on to praise Jack’s selflessness. “What makes me happiest is knowing who you are when no one is watching. The way you show up for your friends. The way you check on people having a hard day. The love you give our family, and the fact that you still let me win in 1v1 every once in a while,” he wrote.

Brady concluded, “This isn’t an ending. It’s a starting line. Whatever you chase next we know you’ll find success in. Take the risks. Be kind. Be yourself. And know your family and friends are always right behind you cheering the loudest because you do the same for everybody else! We love you ❤️❤️❤️”
Moynahan shared a touching message of her own about saying goodbye to Jack as he heads away from home. She wrote on Instagram, “Coming up on my last teenage summer…I’ll be soaking up every last moment!

Brady and Moynahan dated from 2004 until 2006. They announced their pregnancy in early 2007 shortly after the breakup and welcomed son John “Jack” Edward Thomas on August 22, 2007. Brady was already dating model Gisele Bündchen—the pair married in 2009 and welcomed two kids, Benjamin and Vivian, before divorcing in 2022.
Jack is already following in his dad’s footsteps and is a budding athlete. When he was just 13 years old, Jack worked as a ball boy for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He is also a big fan of soccer and basketball. “I really think that he’s kind of like that normal kid who doesn’t really know what he wants to do yet, and I think that’s okay,” Moynahan said of her son in June 2023, per People. “I certainly don’t want to put any pressure on him to do what I do or what his father does.”
